1. Plan the exit route for the wire—your transmitter must stay in a dry, enclosed space. Use a window, doorway, or utility line hole for outdoor access, or drill if needed.

2. The wire must form a continuous loop to function correctly. Avoid placing it within 2 meters of power lines, phone cables, or other buried wires.

3. Ensure the wire isn’t pinched by doors, windows, or garage doors.

4. For stable signal: bury the wire about 1.1 in under concrete and 2.7–3.9 in under soil/grass.

5. Do not bury the wire too close to a fence.

6. Use insulation tape when connecting wires.
